One of my favorite things about being connected to the Library System is the educational opportunity.

I joined Facebook earlier, at the invitation of a cousin, but have done nothing with it. I read the "23 Things" lessons and invited someone else to be a friend. It is a convenient way to share pictures. 

I joined 23-things to learn about new topics. I am a trustee of the Moran Public Library.

I taught mathematics and computer programming for over 35 years, but I want to know at least some about the areas that will be covered. Many years ago I used a mainframe with flashing lights and punch cards to program machine language and FORTRAN. Through the years, I learned many computer languages on various computers and taught several languages. How things have changed! I can only wonder what the next forty years will bring. Very interesting!
